About Us
After nearly 20 years of design and project management in residential and commercial landscaping, BJ Nordby established New Leaf Landscapes & Concrete in 2014. BJ studied landscape architecture at Iowa State University. He is a member of the American Society of Landscape Architects and is certified by the National Concrete Masonry Association for segmental retaining wall installation.
Together with a team of highly experienced landscaping and concrete specialists, BJ creates beautiful, functional outdoor spaces for his clients with special attention to details like accent lighting and layered visual composition that sets New Leaf designs apart from the others.
Our Process

Envision it.
Our design starts with you. We’ll ask about your vision and how all members of your household use your outdoor space.

Plan it.
We provide you with a plan that reflects how you want to live outdoors. We employ both traditional design plans and 3D digital modeling.

Build it.
Your designer is also your project manager, who will be in close contact throughout the project to ensure your comfort and satisfaction.
